Эммм, ну вот и Боб отреагировал публично на песню, посвященную его отношениям с Алексом. Как и догадывались мы,...Дэниз еще та мадам, и крайнего здесь не найдешь...
В-общем, хорошо, что я скептически воприняла ее книгу...

"There are always two sides to an issue and this is mine. The divorce from Denise was very hard on me, I loved he dearly but in reading her book, I guess I was just the means to an end which did not include me. Losing contact with Alex has been the hardest thing I have had to but up with during my life so far.

Let set the record straight, I did not leave Alex, Denise stopped me from seeing him.

I lived in South Florida after our divorce and as a computer support engineer my travel schedule looked like a BSB world tour, I saw Alex as often as I could. This worked out just fine until I moved to Central Florida in 1983 when Alex was 5 and Denise started to make it difficult to schedule visits around his now busy modeling and acting schedule.

I moved to Colorado in late 1984 and had a very nice visit with Alex during the Christmas break with my new wife, step son and my mother. Early in 1985 I scheduled a six week long visit by Alex to Colorado for the summer, he was quite excited about the trip. Then Denise said no, so with court order in hand I showed up on my appointed date only to find they where gone, out of town for guess what 6 weeks.

I then moved to Hong Kong in late 1985 and stayed for 3 years, during that time I came back to Florida on scheduled trips, court order in hand only to find Denise and Alex gone.

When I returned to the states and moved back to Central Florida in 1988, I had my lawyer go back to court and only then did I find they had sold the house and moved. No forwarding address and of course the State of Florida by law can't tell you where they are.

It was not until early 1990 that I learned they where living in Central Florida just 5 miles from my house. So I made a visit and was told they where not there. Now in an interview some years later Alex said he saw me at the door and asked Denise after I left if that was his dad, she said yes. I went on a business trip for 2 weeks and on my return, guess what the condo was up for sale and they where gone again, no forwarding address.

Now all this time Denise knew where I was and how to get ahold of me, just look at the front of the check or call my lawyer and she knew who he was.

So Alex came to see me after getting my address from Adolph in July of 1996 and we started to get back together, having dinner at my house and just hanging out a bit. But Denise put pressure on and there BSB tour schedule started to get in the way and after 2 years out visits stopped.

I then heard from he and Sara on Thanksgiving 2002 and spent a wonderful week and a halve with the both them in Malibu seeing his solo show in Hollywood. Of course at that time he was not speaking to Denise so that may had an influence. The the engagement was called off and Denise got back on his good side and our relationship building died on the vine.

Alex knows all this, we had many talks over it and what happened and I thought we had put it behind us, but I would gather from the commends at his Hollywood concerts it up to me to make contact again. I don't have his contact info or address, though he has mine which had not changed in 12 years. So I am on a quest to find him again, we will see how it works out this time.

From my experience and talking to other fathers that don't have contact with their children it's not always the father fault and after many years life takes over and moves forward"
